FAQs
What is the difference between NEMA and IP ratings?
NEMA 250 types describe protection against environmental conditions such as rain, dust, hose-down and corrosion, while IEC 60529 IP codes rate protection against solids and water only. A NEMA type can be mapped to a minimum IP code, but not the other way round.
Which enclosure standard applies in India?
Degree of protection is usually specified as an IP code to IS/IEC 60529, with switchgear and control gear enclosures also following the IS/IEC 61439 series. We build enclosures to the rating your specification calls for.
Who manufactures the parts?
Everything is engineered and made in-house at our own plant. We are part of the Ferrokshar Group, in production since 1997.
Who do I deal with?
Our engineering team is your single point of contact, from quote to delivery and after-sales service.
